Personally, I adore all of Nell's releases, and it took me a VERY long time to get her records into my collection. The best I can say to those fans who have been scavenging for these records is to just **be patient**. These records are out there, and sooner or later, if you look hard enough in the right places you'll find them.
I have always wished that A & M would release a CD EP of all 7 songs (maybe even including the disco remix of 'Fever.' Every few years I write to A & M about the idea, but I've never gotten a reply. (Maybe I'm not bugging them enough.) The sources are available, since 4 of her songs were put on Songs From The Vaults. (Although the sound quality of 'Beauty Queen' on that compilation is pretty horrid.) Maybe someday it'll happen, but I seriously doubt it.
If you can obtain both Songs From The Vaults and Dark Refrains, you'll have all 7 songs on CD (with the exception of the 'Fever' disco remix and the alternate versions of 'Stilettos And Lipstick' and 'Do The Swim (Splash Splash)'--which have yet to appear on a CD.)
But if you are lucky enough to find any or all of Nell's discs, I highly recommend them all. No Rocky Horror audio collection is complete without these divine tunes.....
